Who we are...

Edens Limited is a unique blend of start-of-the-art products and support with old-fashioned personal service.  We have a wide selection of long-lasting, high-quality outdoor power equipment and the experienced staff to help match that equipment to your specific needs. You will find products to meet the needs of both homeowners and lawn-care professionals.  We're confident you'll discover that our genuine commitment to our customers reaches far beyond the sale.  We'll continue to support that equipment with parts, service -- and most importantly, answers -- as long as you own it. 
I personally have an extensive mechanical and electrical background.  Starting as an electronics technician at Rockwell Collins at 17 yrs of age in 1956, I worked there for 38 years and retired as a Senior Lead Technician.  In addition, I worked in the automotive service industry in night shift jobs, doing engine service, overhaul and automatic transmission service for the local Ford dealer in the late 1950s.  I was active in drag racing, building stock car and drag engines in the 1960s.  In the 1970s, I began operating a commercial mowing and grave-digging business. In the late 1970s, I built the main building that currently houses Edens Ltd.  After 20 years of working 2 and 3 jobs, I was going to retire and just work one job and play in a shop with “my toys”.  Then, in 1977,  the guys I rode to work with in kept saying if they had that building they would buy a local golf car business that was for sale.  This piqued my interest and the rest is history. 

We bought the golf car business as a hobby.  It became an accident that got out of control.  In 1981 we took on Simplicity, Briggs, Kohler and Tecumseh, and redirected the business more in the direction of outdoor power equipment.  We also hired our first two full time employees.  I continued to work at Rockwell during the day and here at night -- with employees running the business during day.  I retired from Rockwell in 1996 and have been here full-time since. 

I've been a Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technician since 1996, and am an EISA certified 2-cycle technician. In 1999, as a result of our experiences in repowering equipment and the coming of EPA restrictions on small engines, we decided to start a new division of the company, Repower Engineering.  This new division utilizes all of the experience and facilities that we've acquired in the past, and offers complete engine replacement kits.   

We believe that we bring unusually high levels of experience to the table when you need outdoor power equipment, parts or service.  We provide a range of quality, reliable products from highly-respected manufacturers.  (We simply will not sell equipment that is not well supported!)  We support our products with one of the most extensive parts inventories in the Midwest.  Our extensive experience, the ongoing investment we make in schools, training, and specialized tools makes choosing us for your service needs a great choice.  Being in a small town, had we not had made satisfying our customers our number one priority, we wouldn’t have prospered as we have. 

OUR CREED:  Customers are NEVER an infringement on our time.  They are our only reason to exist, and with out them we wouldn’t exist.   We exist for you -- you do not exist for us.
